When will NECO Result 2024 be out?
According to the information available to us, candidates should expect NECO result to come out within 60 – 70 days after the last paper. But the current registrar is making effort to reduce it to 43 days.
How to Check NECO Result
To check your NECO result online on the official portal or via SMS, you need two major thing 1) Examination Number and 2) NECO Result Card PIN.
Once you have both the Examination Number and the NECO Result Card PIN, you can use them to access and check your NECO result either online or via SMS.
Follow the procedure below;
- Visit the new NECO result portal https://result.neco.gov.ng/. This old result portal is no longer in use http://www.mynecoexams.com/results/
- Select your examination type: there is a drop down where you will select the type, click June/July
- Select the Examination Year: Choose the year in which you took the NECO exam i.e. 2024
- Enter your Examination Number: Input your NECO examination number.
- Select the Examination Type: Choose the examination type, which is likely to be either June/July (SSCE External) or November/December (SSCE Internal).
- Enter the Card PIN: Input the NECO Result Card PIN. This PIN is usually found on the scratch card purchased for result checking.
- Click on the “Check Result” Button: After entering all the required details, click on the “Check Result” button.
Finally, After the above steps, your NECO Result will be displayed on the screen. If you wish, you can print the result for your records.
