December 2023 was when the Federal Fire Service (FFS) commenced recruitment of qualified Nigerians into their service. Several applications were made on the recruitment portal. Now, here is how you can check FFS Shortlisted candidates on their official website.
Is Fire Service Shortlisted 2024 out?
YES! The Federal Fire Service has released the list of shortlisted candidates for the 2023/2024 recruitment that will participate in the screening exercise. We will show you how to check this shortlist right away on FFS portal.
We earlier advised all candidates who have successfully completed the online registration for recruitment into the Federal Fire Service to print out the Referee Forms for screening exercise. Applicants who had the necessary requirements will most likely be among those on the list.
All candidates who will be shortlisted by the Federal Fire Service should check their official website for further information on the selection process.
We will try to update you on more news and updates about FFS 2024 shortlisted names but if you have been notified about your name appearing on the Fire Service List, then ensure you verify it first.
How to Check Fire Service Shortlisted Candidates
The first step is to Login to https:/cdcfib.career before you will be able to view the list. During the online application, you created an account with a username and password.
Now use the password and username to login and check your name.
There is a forget password option on the portal for those that cannot remember theirs. Use it and reset your account.
Secondly, candidates who have been shortlisted will be duly notified via their email addresses and the phone number they used when registering for the recruitment exercise. So, you are advised to kindly check your email addresses to confirm if your name is among those shortlisted for the Federal Fire Service.

You can also get all the information about the Federal Fire Service screening center and time here. The applicants are to appear at the various screening venues with the following mandatory basic requirements:
- Your duly completed Guarantor’s Form
- Your state of Origin Certificate
- Educational Certificate
- Your birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
- One White-colored Office Flat File Jacket
- And then two Recent Passports Photographs with your name written behind in the capital Letters.
Note that this is not the final list to be released by the Federal Fire Service. Those whose name appears in this list will still have to undergo physical screening before the FFS final list will be released. It’s after the physical interview and document screening that the Federal Fire Service final list will be released. Now those successful at the physical screening will receive their appointment paper as a full-time staff of Federal Fire Service. Congratulations to the successful candidates.
