If you have successfully applied and your name is among the Nigerian Army DSSC shortlist 2024, congratulations. The next step is to prepare for the screening exercise.
January 2024 was when the Nigerian Army (NA) commenced recruitment of qualified Nigerians into Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 28/2024. Several applications were made on the recruitment portal. Now, here is how you can check Army shortlisted candidates on their official website.
Is Nigerian Army DSSC Shortlist 2024 out?
YES! The Nigerian Army has released the DSSC list of shortlisted candidates for the 2024/2024 recruitment that will participate in the screening exercise. We will show you how to check this shortlist right away on Army portal.
How to Check Nigerian Army DSSC Shortlisted Candidates
The first step is to Login to https://recruitment.army.mil.ng/military-secretary/shortlisted before you will be able to view the list. During the online application, you created an account with a username and password. Now use the password and username to login and check your name. There is a forget password option on the portal for those that cannot remember theirs. Use it and reset your account.
Secondly, candidates who have been shortlisted will be duly notified via their email addresses and the phone number they used when registering for the recruitment exercise. So, you are advised to kindly check your email addresses to confirm if your name is among those shortlisted for the Nigerian Army.

Nigerian Army DSSC Screening Date 2024
The Nigerian Army DSSC successful applicants will undergo screening / Aptitude Test on the date to be communicate later. Please note the exercise is for only successful applicants from the following states below;

You can also get all the information about the Nigerian Army DSSC screening center and time here. The applicants are to appear at the various screening venues with the following mandatory basic requirements:
a. Original credentials including online print out that bears his/her passport photograph(s).
b. Four copies of 5×7 coloured photographs in suit and in full standing position without cap/hat.
c. Two pairs each of white (unmarked) round neck vests and navy blue short (without stripes).
d. Two pairs of pure white canvas/trainers (rubber type NOT acceptable).
e. A pair of navy blue track suits (without stripes).
f. Two pairs of white bed sheets and pillow cases for 8 spring bed.
g. One blanket (grey or army green colour).
h. A set of cutlery.
i. One pair of national dress, one pair of black suit and 2 pairs of casual wears.
j. One pair of white shirt, one pair of blue shirt and a black tie.
k. A pair of black belt.
l. Four pairs of white socks and 2 pairs of black socks.
m. A set of wrist watch.
n. A pair of black laced shoes.
o. A pair of swimming trunk.
p. Pressing iron.
q. Toiletries.
Note that this is not the final list to be released by the Nigerian Army. Those whose name appears in first list will still have to undergo physical screening before the Nigerian Army final list will be released. It’s after the physical interview and document screening that the Nigerian Army final list will be released. Now those successful at the physical screening will receive their appointment paper as a full-time staff of Nigerian Army. Congratulations to the successful candidates.
